I am so proud of you…the event was great ( We were there !) but also of your quilt! Typical of you to work your way through creating it pretty much by yourself. It looked fantastic ….and there were several people vying to take it home!

It gives me great hope for the future when young people respond to a political convention in this manner. Particularly a young woman who I adored because of her brains, her nature & her willingness to put up with my quirks.. I am very proud of what has been happening at the DNC. Proud as an American. One American who has split her ticket on a regular basis and always votes. After 7 years of division, deceit, untruths, half-truths and reversals of policy and statement, it is SO time for a CHANGE and it is So time for Hope. That has been missing from our society.
Now On to the book list. Because I am old, there are many that I have read..I am not admitting to how old or how many books. But The Kite Runner is one I read last year and thought it was a great read. Everyone should spend some time in the pages of that book.
