My parents always taught me that we should hope for the best, but expect the worst.
Today, I am grateful that saying didn’t apply.
Today, I am thankful that we prevailed.
Tomorrow we’ll face the challenges still ahead and how to navigate this new terrain, but today, I am dancing on the inside.
